  • CED is committed to attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • CED has a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Board (DEIAB) comprised of representatives from each Region who collaborate companywide to explore and share best practices. Each Region representative is then their respective Region resource for DEI initiatives at a more local level. 
  • CED is committed to a work environment that embraces our strengths and differences. Creating such an environment brings out the full potential in each of us. At CED, all employees are expected to exhibit professional behavior at work, free from racial slurs, sexual innuendos, bullying, aggression, foul language, etc.

CED organizes and supports various professional development and networking groups within the company and​ the industry, including but not limited to:

    • CED Women’s Leadership Meeting
    • NAED (National Association of Electrical Distributors) Women in Industry Forum
    • CED is a founding member of Construct Diversity, a program that offers underserved high school youth visibility to career paths in the construction industry. We aim to build connection, access, and opportunity to underserved youth; and provide equitable access to career opportunities.​
