One Big Company, Many Names
While much of our growth has come in the form of opening new locations with the CED name, we also grow through acquisition. In both cases, it starts with assessing the needs of a local market and then finding the best fit to serve those needs. When we acquire an exceptional local business that's a strong cultural fit with CED, we typically keep what's working, including that company's name. We come in to provide additional resources and support to help those local businesses level up to deliver even better solutions for their customers. As a result, we go by many names. But, the culture and core values are all one CED.

We provide solutions for anything that touches a wire – to automating manufacturing plants that produce the products you use everyday, utilities bringing power to where it needs to go, and contractors that build, power and maintain homes and buildings in your community. It's a trillion dollar industry and it's not going anywhere. We are also major players in the renewable energy space, as one of the largest and fastest growing solar providers in the U.S.
